PPL Helicopter Theory

To become a helicopter pilot you will need to go through a theoretical course beside the practical flight training. We offer the students the Private Pilot License Helicopter (PPL-H) course at our training center in Jönköping.

The courses are available as intensive study, with much of the teaching on an individual basis.

The theoretical training is integrated with the practical flight training, each student starts individually.

During the course we include exam techniques and question practice sessions for better exam success.

The subjects included in the PPL H theory are:

• Aircraft General Knowledge
• Performance, Mass and Balance & Flight Planning
• Meterology
• Human Performance & Limitations
• Radio Communication
• Navigation
• Principles of Flight
• Operational Procedures

We are using the Oxford PPL books together with Phil Croucher’s helicopter manuals which we have found as the best books available. The material includes Oxford PPL DVDs with interactive lessons.  All material and teaching is in English.

Location: Jönköping

We will arrange transport to and from the airport.

Course fee includes all navigation tools and charts required for the exams.
