Helicopter tours for sightseeing is a great experience you will never forget. It is an incredible view to see everything from a birds perspective.

To have an enjoyable experience and the highest level of safety is paramount for Northern Helicopters, therefore we only operate turbine helicopters with well trained helicopter pilots.

Gothenburg City
We offer helicopter sightseeing flights over Gothenburg city with departures from Frihamnen.

City Flight:
A scenic helicopter flight which starts from our heliport at Frihamnen and takes you over the city of Gothenburg. During this flight you will see the entire city and the harbor area. During the flight you will see the city forest (Slottskogen), Liseberg, the main arena Ullevi, the Avenue and much more. Since Gothenburg is a city of many different areas this flight will give you a very good view of our fantastic green city.

Coastal Flight:
An extended flight which takes to up to the island of Marstrand where you will be able to see the fortress from above. Marstrand is located North West of the harbor. Once reached Marstrand the helicopter takes you then southbound following the coastline. During the flight along the coast you will see both the North and South very beautiful archipelagio which is unique of its kind. The flight will end with flying over the city of Gothenburg and finally land at our heliport at Frihamnen.

How to get to our Heliport Frihamnen
Its walking distance from Nordstan (shopping center by the Central Station). You can reach the bridge Göta Älv Bron by passing trough Nordstan west entrance. Once over the bridge, our heliport is by the docks on your left hand side.
If you do require transportation or any assistance we will happily assist you with that.

Our helicopters
We are flying with the Jetranger Bell 206 and the Eurocopter EC120. Both are turbine driven helicopters with a capacity of 4 passengers plus one pilot. One passenger will occupy the front seat next to the pilot and three in the back seat. There is an intercom system which allow you to hear the pilot during the flight. More information under Fleet.
