About us

About us

Northern Helicopters is a global provider of helicopter flight training.

We started as a very small flight school with one single Schweizer 300 offering only PPL in 2008. Very soon the number of students grew and we then offered modular CPL, today we are one of the leading training providers for helicopter flight training. We are opening training centers at various strategic locations where you can find the same service at any of our centers. However even though we are one of the leading companies, we will never be a pilot factory where focus on individual development does not fit. Our instructors are carefully selected and trained in-house in order to secure the very high level of quality in our training.

We are constantly developing our own training material in order to deliver as efficient training as possible. Within the company we have expertise from training airline pilots for Boeing and Airbus aircraft. When we realized that the helicopter training has been in the backwater for a very long time we decided to develop and offer a better quality training as well as customer satisfaction. Many flight schools forget that the student is also a customer where he shall always be the priority. Northern Helicopters will always be in the frontline of the future aviation training for helicopters.

We offer a warm and professional environment for both customers and staff. Our equipment is the latest state of the art in helicopters that can be used for training with Eurocopter as the main brand of helicopters. There is a reason why we based our training on the Cabri and EC120, it is the safest aircraft to be used for training of its class and the most modern. It is our philosophy to deliver the best training available with the safest equipment.

Quality and safety is our number one priority. Therefore, we have developed an advanced quality assurance program which ensures that we meet the highest standard of JAR FCL, EASA, JAR OPS, FAA and customer satisfaction in all respects.

Welcome to Northern Helicopters and the world of helicopter flying!
